Today has been a good lazy Friday at my house. Nothing we HAD to do and nowhere we HAD to go. It's been a day of binge watching The Sopranos with my wonderful husband while the kiddo has been relaxing after his chores for the day. I just finished cooking our dinner and the house smells of tasty goodness and we will have a nice family dinner together. I love days like these. No commotion, hustle or bustle, just a relaxing good day. The next decision to be made, will be watch to watch with the kiddo. (NOT The Sopranos... lol) Sounds like a good start to my weekend.
Family fun day at my house! My oldest and her boyfriend are here visiting today and celebrating the little having his bday yesterday. Lots of fun and games are being had by all. I am about to start the potato soup and cornbread that is tonights dinner and just let it sit on low heat until time to eat later. It feels more like a Saturday than a Tuesday for sure. I absolutely love days like this. I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday!
Today is my youngest little's birthday. I don't know where time went or why it is in such a hurry to get to where it is going, but I blinked and 11 years flew by! He get's his requested favorite meal for dinner tonight, my fried chicken fingers, mac and cheese and green beans. His requested extra thick fudge brownies are in the oven baking and making the house smell all yummy and he is happily sitting on the floor going through all his new things. Life is good!
I know fairly well how that goes. I've learned to live in my suitcase/duffel bag, simply because I've grown too accustomed to always having to be on the road, myself. I've actually had people tell me to unpack my things, and I'll just tell them "That depends on how long I'll be staying".
I always get a funny look for that one.
Thank you! Vacations are needed things! I think I need a vacation from the vacation now though. LOL!

What in the actual fuck did I walk back into? I went on vacation, didn't sign on for over a week and come back to some sort of insanity.... Something about the Feds? It would seem I missed a lovely tea party. Someone pass the milk and honey.
